  That was terrific. The art is so lo-fi brilliant. I heard that he had a born-again experience. I think Yoko stomped it out of him. I still pray that between getting shot and dying, Jesus came back and said, ‘hey, you want another shot? And that John said “yeah, mate.”

  I’ve heard the same thing, though it sounds like it was a strong reaction at the end. some of that might’ve had to do with coming to Christ as a result of televangelists.

  it would be great, though, to see that guy in heaven.

  I think it also had to do with getting back with Yoko. But I believe in grace. My sister and I prayed and prayed for John when he got shot. And years later I heard about his conversion. I also heard from Peter Jones (WTS, San Diego) that John went to church in Japan in the few summers before he died. So we can only hope hope hope
