The King of Sports Blogging

Bryan Allain got what, for the sports blogging world, is the get of gets today: an interview with Will Leitch on Prayers for Blowouts. I like to picture Bryan right there, sitting across from Will, chewing thoughtfully on a pen.

Last week, Leitch wrote in his weekly NFL column on Deadspin that he grew up a fervent churchgoer. Not to toot my own horn here, but I wasn’t surprised. Like gay-dar and black-dar, I’ve always felt an innate ability to detect Jesus in people’s hearts (or, at the very least, a churchy upbringing).

Other public figures I suspect of latent Christianity? Joel McHale and Billy Graham.

For those of you unfamiliar with Will Leitch, I wrote about him once before, comparing the rise of sports blogging to the emergent church.

Great job, Bryan!
