Oh, Kirsten! You are FULL of interesting theories, ideas, proposals and lists :). Why have you been keeping this a secret?!? I now see what has been missing in our household for the past twelve years. (I expect significant improvements when we start slow sippin'.) At least your sleepless nights are impacting the world positively!!!

This is so true...I think of Starbucks and there is something wrong about drive through coffee. The closest Starbucks to us has virtually no seating area. It is like a hallway, like they do not want us to sit and sip.

Nice post. My neighbor Grandpa Bill invited me over for tea-- when I hesitated, he said, Oh that's okay, you are too busy-- and right after he said that, I told him I would be right over. I refused to allow myself to not have time to sip tea with Grandpa Bill.We ended up making it a tradition and now he is no longer with us.

Today, it is Theodore that I try to visit every week. Thursdays with Theodore. He is 86.

I definitely agree with your theory. Every Friday night is "date night" at our house. With the kids tucked in, we slowly sip our wine as we reconnect after a busy week. Thanks!

Definitely a viable theory, Kirsten, I love it! Once this third child of ours is born I am going to definitely have a Merlot date with my hubby. I'm inspired.

You are so inspiring, Kirsten. Sadly, my husband drinks neither red wine nor coffee..but we can drink tea together slowly, so all hope is not lost. And I have found dear friends with whom I can enjoy slow sips of java and merlot with. The theory is a good one.
