Van Morrison’s Kicks

When I was visiting Alabama a few weeks ago, Chad took me through The Last Waltz, a documentary of The Band’s final performance.  The show featured guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Dr. John, and Bob Dylan.

One of the best appearances comes from Van Morrison, who comes out in a tight black t-shirt and glittering purple suit.  It doesn’t even look as good as it sounds.  He then proceeds to kick his way off-stage in spectacular and hilarious fashion.  It’s a sweet clip.
