A few things that I found interesting this week around the internets:

  • Fellow BWCer, Gayla, forwarded this story from Time Magazine about the Advent Conspiracy “movement.” As Gayla said, “great article but also funny – after posting an encouraging article about seeking the true meaning of Christmas with less emphasis on gift-giving, someone thought it appropriate to also provide a link at the bottom to the TIME’s Holiday Gift Guide 2009. Brilliant.”
  • IĀ appreciated Anne Jackson’s honesty and about her struggle with depression and bipolar disorder. Her vulnerability helps combat the stigma of mental health issues.
  • Do those leaked emails from top climate scientists even matter?
  • What Gene Stoltzfus, founder of Christian Peacemaker Teams, had to say about Obama’s Nobel speech.
  • A little Advent poetry from Thomas Merton.

I need your help! Send me your interesting reads from your weekly internet wanderings!
