It was a busy week – the State of the Union speech, the iPad unveiling, picking up the pieces in Haiti, the deaths of Salinger and Zinn. Much of my reading revolved around those topics:
- I hate the politics of the SOTU. All of that standing and clapping and refusing to stand and clap business gives me a headache, so I just read the speech after it was over. I liked Fallows’ play-by-play.
- A conversation between Christopher Hitchens and a Unitarian minister provoke the question, what makes a Christian?
- Stuff Christian Bands Like.
- I vote that we bring back tea time!
- So what’s the consensus among Burnsiders about the iPad, aside from the fact that whoever picked that name should be fired?

I second tea!
Rishi Tea’s Earl Green (not Grey) is fantastic! Add some cream and agave nectar and it’s a magical little drink.
Cheers!
