Here at Burnside, we’ve had no shortage of opinions about Anne Rice’s recent rejection of Christianity. Is three articles enough? we asked. Probably not, we decided. So here’s Olivia, age 7 and 1/2, and her open letter to Anne Rice.
Dear Anne,
What’s up? Nothin’ much here. I am doing good. Summer camp is so fun!
Today, we went fishing, and I caught a fish, but Counselor Treetop said we had to put the fish back. But I still got a special gold bead to put on my nametag necklace made out of wood!
The first two days, I missed Mom and Dad and Baby Quincy, but now that I’ve made so many friends, I want to stay at camp forever! I wish Mom and Dad and and Baby Quincy could come and stay here with me. They would have so much fun!
The bell is ringing, which means it’s swimming time! Say hello to Allucard and Countess Dolingen for me! They’re such funny kitty cats!
Lots of luv! – Olivia

Now THIS letter I can get behind. Way to go, Olivia!
Hahaha. The most provocative opinion I’ve read yet!
