It’s Antoine Dogson (aka best costume of 2010)!
Here’s what I’ve been enjoying around the internets this week:
- As someone who is often guilty of this kind of thinking, I fully endorse this article about the dangers of our American “quick fix” mentality.
- More on the yoga drama (if you aren’t bored of it already).
- A gene for liberals? Is anyone else annoyed that they didn’t even bother to define the term?
- Learning from the Chilean miners.
- Double awesome:
I think we should have some fun and share our plans for Halloween in the comments. I’m going as a double rainbow because that video makes me laugh harder every time I watch it. If I can find some that aren’t too incriminating, I’ll share a picture next week. Happy Halloween Burnsiders!

I’m dressing up as Taylor Swift. I figure, so what if I can’t sing? Neither can Taylor Swift. Who’ll be able to tell a difference?
I’m going as a pirate. It’s kind of unoriginal and passee, but I found the costume for $30 and miracles of all miracles, it doesn’t reveal 99% of my skin. Plus, there’s the added bonus of saying, “yaaar!” all night and drinking lots of rum.
