Hey there EVRE1! You’ll want to RSVP for FFW this APR 19-21 in GR, MI ASAP!
I know I’m looking forward to this biennial festival after rounds of ISTEP tests and implementing IEPs and RTIs at my FT job at CMS where I also earn PGP points all while anxiously anticipating the dawn of the new RISE evaluation rubric.
But enough about me. Here’s Y U will want 2 BTWBO:
OMG! Meet some new BFFs at our BWC booth, complete with nifty sign and swag! Maybe have some P-ZA together?! Or coffee!?!
And that’s not all! U will want 2:
- Attend a writing workshop led by our very own Arts Editor, Stephanie Nikolopoulos!
- Hear our very own Susan Isaacs, author of Angry Conversations with God, speak!
- Meet our Deputy Editor, John Pattison, who will be there hosting a breakout session on book reviewing with ERB Editor-in-Chief, Chris Smith!
- Hear plenary speaker, author Jonathan Safran Foer and watch BWC Editor-in-Chief Jordan Green become his best friend! JK.
- Meet other fantastic Burnsiders like Social Justice Editor Penny Carothers, Diane Nienhuis, Associate Editor Sara Sterley, Betsy Zabel, and me!
- Pick up some swag, like a bookmark or something!

I would so love to come, but as I’m unemployed right now a plane ticket from Australia to the US is just not on the list right now! Hope to meet you all maybe at the next one.
Jo, I think it would be fun for us to figure out a time to skype you, and then you could meet everybody!
Sorry you can’t make this one. Love the Skype idea. (And why wait for the conference? Off line the columnists should have occasional chats.)

I want to go to this so badly, but as I am getting married on the 21st, I am pretty sure that is not going to be possible. If the Skyping was on the 19th maybe I’d be all about that though. I have already told my soon-to-be-husband though that in two years, when this happens again, I am going!!

Yes, Yes I’ll be there! I got the scholarship and now I’m just waiting for pay day to sign up! I can’t wait! If anyone gets in early enough, we can go to Founders for a pint!
I love to welcome people to my home town! Okay, well, I live 30 minutes away, but you get the idea. Remember, it’s cold here in April! Don’t expect Spring, but do pray for it.
